You save money with us.  Our plans are the cheapest accessible price on a pay-per-use basis for the most frequency of scans (every five minutes).  Also, other service providers require that you sign up for monthly subscriptions to get the frequency and price we are offering.    

In addition, our scans do not expire until the arrival date.

Your scan will run until the date of your arrival even if you receive a campsite availability notification before that.  In other words, you will keep getting notifications as campsite spots become available until midnight on your arrival date.  

You can stop these alerts by sending us a message through our contact form or by emailing us.  

Scans will run every five minutes, which is more frequent than other service providers.

Unfortunately, there are no refunds.  We are a small business and work on your scans the moment we receive them.  There are costs to set up and run your scans, and send you alerts.  Our scan plans are competitively priced so they are affordable to everyone and it provides enough earnings for us to invest more time into developing our site and creating more scanning options for you.  

If you would like to cancel your scan plan, you can either enter your information on the contact form or email us at info@campscann.com and we will be happy to assist you. Please note we will not be able to refund you the money.

There is no guarantee that you will receive a notification for a campsite opening.  Any availability for a sold-out campground depends on the original reservation being cancelled.  If you provide an email address we will send you a nightly scan summary that confirms the scan has been running as per the service selected by you.

Yes, we create concurrent scans based on the plan you pick.  Concurrent scans mean running multiple scans at the same time to increase your chances of a notification.  

Our “Quad” plan allows you to choose 2 arrival dates and 2 parks.

You can request to cancel your scan by using the contact form to send us a message.  We do not provide a refund for deleted scans. 

At this time we do not have an option to edit your scans.

No, we minimize the number of emails and texts you will receive.  The below is a sample list of correspondences you will receive from us:

No, we do not resell campsite bookings and don’t plan to do so in the future. We don’t support businesses who resell campsites.  It’s unfair to the rest of us as it makes it much more difficult to book campsites. 

CampScann only monitors the Parks website from the date you create a scan to your arrival date and sends you a notification if a campsite opens up which meets your search criteria. 

Our service does not include booking the campsite for you.  Once you get a notification you will have to go to the campsite reservation site directly to book your campsite.  To make this process easier for you, we will send you a link with the details pre-selected in the notification message and all you have to do is click it and the park will be selected for you. 

We are your fellow campers that got tired of periodically checking and refreshing the reservations page to see if there is an opening at a campground.  Once we found a more efficient way to do it, we realized there must be others that are in the same situation and decided to offer it as a service.

Absolutely! Check the URL of our website and see if it says “HTTPS” at the start of the address (instead of “HTTP”) and it has a lock icon. This means our website is secure with an SSL certificate. The SSL certificate is used to secure all data that is passed from the browser to the website’s server.
